VIDEO: I Endorse Stacey Abrams

Among the comments I offered to WLTZ, WRBL and WTVM in endorsement of my friend and choice for our next governor of Georgia Stacey Abrams’ six-pillar plan for military servicemembers, veterans and their families:

“When you’re talking about veterans, veterans do have specific needs, and our “promises Kept” initiative rings a bell, because it is one of the holistic methods to address the needs of the general veteran population. And you know- 700,000 veterans here in Georgia”.

“And so we need to do a bit of catch-up, and I’m really glad for the diversity with the women and the LGBT community. And then the last one, unfortunately we still have a lot of veterans who are homeless. And so the six pillars of that initiative pretty much covers everything.”

“When i got out of the military, I floundered for a year and a half, because no one was here to sit me down and say, these are the opportunities that we have. Her six pillar plan is phenomenal.”

I ask all of my constituents to register to vote before April 24, 2018, vote for Stacey Abrams in the Democratic primary on May 22, and vote for Stacey Abrams for governor on November 6. She will also appear at the CSU Democratic gubernatorial forum on April 24, 2018 at 7pm at Columbus State University’s University Hall.
